There were so many times when we could have had it, except for some bad luck. But remember, it took 11 innings, and incredible playing, before we dropped the ball, so to speak.
I don't follow baseball, but heard it was a WORLD Series (a misnomer if ever there was) to beat all others. the Canadian team had done itself proud, regardless.⚾
I don't normally follow any sports, but I get interested in baseball when the Blue Jays are doing well. Some people have written The Toronto Star to say that they feel the team deserves a parade despite not winning. I agree.
