Last week I ordered two tickets online to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Wednesday. My tickets were emailed to me for me to print out.
On Tuesday, I received this email from the movie theatre:
"Fans are encouraged to enhance their Star Wars experience by wearing costumes at theatres across Canada, but props and toys that could become tripping hazards or impair vision in a theatre are best left at home. Guests are prohibited from wearing masks ..."
Owl pellets!
I was all set to wear my Darth Vader helmet, with the 3D glasses on top... ;-)
DS loved this movie, and he can be critical. I managed to stay a SW virgin, never seen one. Enjoy the party.
ReplyDeleteI liked it, maybe 3 out of 4 stars. Considering that Abrams took over from Lucas as director, he did an impressive job of interpreting Lucas's characters and world. Nice seeing some of the original actors, too.
DeleteHa, I can just see you sitting there in your helmet. I thought the latest Star Wars movie was pretty good, too. I kept my expectations low and was pleasantly surprised. It was fun to see all the old cast and I was impressed with the new main characters.
ReplyDeleteThere are some intriguing, unanswered questions left dangling, too. A good example of keeping the movie-goer anxious to see the sequel.
DeleteThat's a really cool helmet. I'm like Mirka, haven't seen SW though I've heard a lot of good things about this latest movie. Hope you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a real Star Wars fan. But I enjoyed this one as well as the first three (episodes 4,5, and 6).
DeleteI found that email amusing. I don't really have a Darth Vader helmet. And if I did, 3-D glasses wouldn't have fit on top!
