I wait all year for that week (or two or three). Nature teaches us that nothing stays the same for long, and that we need to enjoy the present moment. :-)
Some of the most beautiful moments are just that ... moments. To be enjoyed for their sake. I'm so glad you took these photos to share with us. Such beauty! Thank you.
I recently read a quote on Twitter from a philosopher (I forget who) that was something like, "It's better to welcome the seasons' changes than to be in love with Spring."
I guess that makes me the fool who is in love with Spring. :-)
Only a week, but, oh, how sweet they were.

DeleteNature teaches us to go spend more money, this time on petunias. What a lovely deck! May I come over and drink some coffee?

DeleteBeautiful! I saw a field of tulips on the news recently and my Gods & Goddesses, it was such a sight.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Claudine. :-)
DeleteWhat a beautiful variety of colors! I like the owls and dog, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marcia! The owls were a wedding present.
DeleteThis is why I don't like flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, Kelly.
