Snowww...I hope it's not too cold!
No, actually it's pretty mild today. I took this pic a few days ago. Most of this snow has melted.
We're in a bit of a January thaw ourselves. Nice to sort of "have it" this year, though. I'm a little "old fashion" about Winter and Snow.
It's funny how when I was a kid I loved playing in the snow. I don't remember having Snow Days. We were expected to make it to school no matter what. One way I've changed is that snow has lost its charm.
I just got some family photos Emailed from Jerusalem, where they had eight inches of snow yesterday. Over there this is rare enough and so the city shuts down, no school or business. It's a Snow Holiday.
I can imagine it would be disruptive to have eight inches of snow in Jerusalem.The only time I was in Israel was in December 2000 and January 2001. It was cool in Haifa and hot in Eilat.
